Designation: Asst. Front Office Manager (AFOM)

Job Responsibilities

  • To oversees the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
  • Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure 100% Guest recognition.
  • Maximize room occupancy at the best possible rates, using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets and policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Ensure team members have current and up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies.
  • Promotes knowledge of the local area and trains team members to ensure engagement and learning are continuous.
  • Maintains good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments.
  • Monitors and maintain staffing levels to meet business demands.
  • Manages staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recruits only the best for the hotel and department.
  • Ensures compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
  • Acts in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.
  • Assists with other departments as necessary.

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma or Graduation in Hotel Management.
  • Graduation or Masters from any reputed University in any discipline.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Guest Relation, Front Office, Reservation
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Hotel, Resort

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 34 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly.
  • Must be able to listen, read and/or write instructions, memos, short Correspondences and messages.
  • Computer proficiency for regular work like MS office, email etc.
  • Clear operational concept on Hotel PMS.
  • At least 1 years experience in similar position at any reputed Hotel.
