Orogenic Resources (BD) ltd., a Malaysia-Bangladesh joint venture company has been in the market for the last 21 years as country-leader in data management solution for the large enterprises especially Banks, NBFI’s and TELCO’s, looking for some dynamic and self-motivated candidates for the following position for its new business segment

Location: Dhaka. 

The candidate will have to develop supply chain teams in other divisional cities.

About the Supply Chain Manager role:

Supply Chain Manager will drive the end to end Supply Chain activities of the company and warehousing and distribution, to achieve excellent levels of customer service at lowest cost to support the ambitious growth plans of the business and deliver top and bottom line growth. Implement continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain to streamline processes and eliminate waste. You will be responsible for the following areas of the business; Customer Service, Planning, Transport, Warehouse.

Requirements of the Supply Chain Manager:

• An excellent understanding of ecommerce fulfilment operations and the key strategic priorities for online retailers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence a team and build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all Health & Safety, Legal and Statutory requirements are always adhered to Plan, manage and control labor usage to achieve budget productivity levels and financial spend.
• Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations.
• Prevent, investigate and report incidents and accidents in a time bound manner.
• Efficient control of inventory i.e. correct storage, accurate record keeping and appropriate handling to avoid stock discrepancies, losses and damage.
• Accurately resolving any inventory queries.
• Effective coordination and utilization of resources to meet the demands of the business.
• Good PC skill and relevant software.

Education and Experiences:

• The candidates must have graduation/graduation. Post graduate in Supply Chain Management will be given preference
• He must have at least 5/6 years’ hands-on experience in the field of supply chain management
• Must have experience in managing supply chain and procurement management software
