Orogenic Resources (BD) ltd., a Malaysia-Bangladesh joint venture company has been in the market for the last 21 years as country-leader in data management solution for the large enterprises especially Banks, NBFI’s and TELCO’s, looking for some dynamic and self-motivated candidates for the following position for its new business segment

Location: Dhaka. 

The Brand Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the brand of the company

Duties of a Brand Manager include

  • Managing all aspects of the brand through the supply chain both tangible and intangible.
  • Analysing the brand and current strategy and highlighting areas of weaknesses or conflicting messages.
  • Creating a brand and communication plan and strategy and ensuring all aspects of the product or companies marketing and activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
  • Sourcing suppliers and products that fit with the context of the brand.
  • Creating an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty and improving market share.
  • Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals.
  • Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals of the brand are met.
  • Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Playing a key part in buying, sourcing and manufacturing of the brands products and ensuring all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand.
  • Developing high quality and effective contents, marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy.
  • Realistic forecasting of sales and volume for the brand ensuring all parts of the company are geared accordingly.
  • Presenting the brand strategy to directors and sales and marketing teams at internal meetings and conferences.
  • Managing external agencies and ensuring marketing budgets are met.
  • Build contracts with essential partners to ensure smooth marketing operations.
  • Managing events/campaigns and activations for the company.
  • Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximizing all opportunities for growth.

Knowledge and Opportunity: 

The candidate shall also conduct regular and consistent research and keeps the business and the brand marketing department informed on best practices and the latest trends in brand marketing that ensure that the business does not lag behind of its competition and also in order to provide growth opportunity for the brand by capitalizing on the acquisition potential that alternative branding strategies/approaches may hold.

The candidate needs to ensure that the products/services maintain a consistent tone that is relevant to the business’s brand and the consumers, solidifying the brand identity by ensuring consistent, on-time and accurate development, delivery, and assets running for each brand marketing campaign.

Other Duties

  • S/He also needs to perform other tasks as designated by supervisor/ Head of Marketing, or the Employer.

Education and Experiences:

  • The candidates must BBA/MBA major in Marketing. 
  • S/He must have at least 3-5 years’ hands-on experience in the field of Marketing Communication
