Ensure the project implementation in compliance with the project operational plan, budget, HFH guidelines, policies and procedures Develop project implementation plan, strategy and mechanism to impact the target population through the project Tracking cost, scheduling, budgetary monitoring and controlling throughout the project implementation to effective utilization of the fund Overall responsible for project beneficiary selection, training design, community WaSH Committee formation & establishment, effective coordination with project stakeholder including govt. civil society agencies, sanitation materials suppliers, school management committees, CBOs and Upazilla level WaSH & DM committees Overall responsible for development of effective training plan, training modules including IEC materials, conducting trainings, effectiveness evaluation and construction activities including household level sanitary latrines, community latrines, water sources, community bathhouse etc. Provide technical assistance and build the capacity of delivery team and change agents for effective project implementation Ensure effective integration of gender, disability, environment, social issues, DRR & climate change into all project activities Lead the baseline survey and ensure that results of the baseline survey are incorporated into project strategies and approaches Ensure field level ongoing monitoring & evaluation coordinating with different filed offices and National Office Work closely with HRC Coordinators, Training Officers, Construction Coordinators, Community Mobilizers, CBO & CWC leaders in the programmatic approach to ensure that good team work practice Collaborate with civil society organizations and government for increasing capacity to advocate on WaSH issues and represent HFHI-B at different level (local, national & international) as needed Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, annually etc.) project donor report coordinating with HRC Coordinators and send National Office as and required.
Requirements:
Masters in social science, development studies, public health or a similar field preferred Minimum 3-5 years working experience in similar position, preferably with a Development Organization, working with low income people, CSOs, CBOs, women’s groups, and government institutions within Bangladesh Past proven experience with WaSH project implementation in rural area of Bangladesh Institutional training/certificate course on WaSH & gender will be an advantage Willingness to learn and adopt new technology and methodology of WaSH project implementation through change agents focusing on theory of change Good presentation skill; leadership; knowledge on WaSH & project management cycle; advance skills in MS Office software Proven experience on sanitation market survey and working with sanitation materials suppliers for business development Bilingual; able to speak and write both English & Bengali Willingness to work in a rural area on a group approach to provide WaSH support to needy families and communities Willingness for extensive travel to three filed offices for project implementation Maintain high morale integrity and honesty Capacity to handle multi tasks & prioritize job responsibilities Capability to think creatively.
