The Global Management Services Private Limited (GMS) is seeking an optimistic professional to serve as the Quality Control Officer, to work in a team with other Merchandisers, Quality Controllers and the R&D team.

Based in Hong Kong with offices in Dhaka and Istanbul, GMS has its own in-house creative and production teams for different product groups and the best sourcing solution hub for different brands all over the world.

The Role of a Quality Control Officer –

• A well team player with impeccable integrity.
• Strong knowledge of fabric, fitting, paper pattern, sewing, size specification, pattern modification and garment construction for bulk production and be able to identify quality issues at early stage and provide technical advices to factories for quality improvement.
• Pattern system (Lectra and Gerber) knowledge will be preferable.
• Responsible for working closely with the business partners and our merchandising teams in providing technical and quality assurance assistance to ensure that all samples are manufactured and submitted for approval in timely manner and good quality.
• Sample evaluation according to customer's requirements and tech pack.
• Required to participate in pre-production meetings, carry out in-line and final inspection according to the company's quality control requirements, and to prepare inspection report within the designated timeline.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in Quality Control.
• Have at least a Bachelor degree in any disciplines.
• Tertiary educational background with off shore production experience.

Requested Qualities and Competencies

• Outstanding correspondence skills in both English and Bengali.
• Well expertise in working and communicating with the customers, fit technicians and merchandising teams independently as well as with the manufacturers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other necessary software
• Capable of working independently and under pressure
• Active team member and team player
