Job Title: Officer, Testing and Development Lab

Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting all required tests on physical requirements as per the specified Methods/ SOPs and ensure testing accuracy.
- Conducting lab trials according to given recipes (by the Associate Manager, Technical Management), giving own input for additional recipes/processes and keeping good records and samples for those development trials.
- Keeping all the related records updated with accuracy.
- Keeping all necessary QCs and Associate Manager Technical Management updated.
- Ensuring good housekeeping all around.
- Maintaining the equipment and calibration records up to date.
- Giving the update on the progress of the testing to relevant colleagues.
- Ensuring test completion within time line as per required service.
- Bringing to the notice of the Supervisor or above any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.
- Building and maintaining relationship with external parties and other appointed testing facilities.
- Going to the factory in certain cases to teach the operators how to do a certain process.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in both physical and chemical testing.
- Adequate knowledge about testing methods and RSL.
- Good understanding of various types of fabric/garment dyeing and finishing process in the areas of yarn/fiber-dyeing, fabrics dyeing and finishing, garment dyeing/washing, fabrics printing and placement printing
- Good knowledge in color management (must pass the Munsell Hue Test with under 50 points)
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Graduate (B.Sc)
- Preferably in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Textile Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 year(s).Preferably in a dye house for yarn, fabric dyeing/finishing.

- Computer literacy, specially MS Office (Word, Excel)
