Business Development Manager

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Responsible for overall development of Alcon Business
• Identifying and leveraging scope of new business
• Ensuring contribution for business development
• Ensuring sales growth
• Identify potential clients and the decision makers with in the client organization
• Ensuring proper sales plan/visit plan/marketing plan for team.
• Overall observation of smooth sales, tracking & reporting.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Leveraging sales skills across team.
• Training & developing capability among team members
• Deal with Alcon team to achieve their divisional objectives.
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s ERP system.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team

Knowledge, Experience & Skills required:
       
Primary requirements:

• Proven expertise in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Demonstrated ability to get best out of teams, investing in their training & development need
• Process orientation and ability to manage processes for cost and time efficiencies.
• Track record of networking skills.
• Product knowledge in the related field
• Understanding and leveraging synergies across departments for better customer delivery

Secondary requirements:

• Good presentation and negotiation skill.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience Requirements;

• Minimum 10 years’ with at least 3 years on Managerial position in the relevant field.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate/Masters in science with MBA / Equivalent degree from a local or foreign university.

Age: 32 - 40
