Selection of a national consulting firm for the assignment “Promotion and dissemination of E-cooking appliances in rural and peri-urban areas only Rajshahi & Rangpur Division of Bangladesh.”
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work to shaping a future worth living around the world. As a public-benefit Federal Government organisation, GIZ supports the German Government, particularly the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) implementing development projects. In Bangladesh, GIZ is implementing the technical cooperation projects in the areas of energy, climate change, textile, human rights under the bilateral agreement, signed on 15 July 1972 between the Bangladesh and German Governments.
Energising Development (EnDev) is a global technical assistance programme that has been working in Bangladesh since 2009. EnDev has facilitated access to modern and clean energy solutions for rural households and businesses. In Bangladesh, the programme has supported the provision of clean cooking technology and solar energy solutions including solar home systems, solar lanterns and productive use of solar energy. So far, over 1.9 million people have been reached with clean cooking technology and over 1.4 million people with solar energy solutions.
GIZ is hereby requesting an EOI from national consulting firm based in Bangladesh to provide expert services on Promotion and dissemination of E-cooking appliances in rural and peri-urban areas only Rajshahi & Rangpur Division of Bangladesh.. The consulting firm will work independently. The detail of the activities is mentioned in the Terms of Reference (ToR). The firm shall have expertise as per mentioned in the ToR.

Interested parties are requesting to attend Prebid meeting which will be held on 16th May 2024, as per pre-bid instruction.
Interested parties with relevant and proven experience shall submit Technical and Financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes by May 28, 2024. The envelopes shall be addressed to “Contracts, Procurement & IT Unit” denoted with the remark “83464371- Promotion and dissemination of E-cooking appliances in rural and peri-urban areas of Bangladesh”. |
