The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work to shaping a future worth living around the world. As a public-benefit Federal Government organisation, GIZ supports the German Government, particularly the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) implementing development projects. In Bangladesh, GIZ is implementing the technical cooperation projects in the areas of energy, climate change, textile, human rights under the bilateral agreement, signed on 15 July 1972 between the Bangladesh and German Governments.

The minimum qualification of interested vendors can be determined by the followings:
1. The supplier must have updated business registration certificates along with the VAT and TIN certificate.
2. The organization must be operating for at least ten (10) years.
3. Must have experience of supply/ manufacturing/ import of equipment related to refrigeration and air-conditioning.
4. Similar experience of supplying and/importing lab equipment/training equipment on refrigeration and air-conditioning will have added advantage.
5. Experience of working with natural refrigerants related to the air-conditioning and refrigeration sector is required.
6. The bidder has to clearly specify the brand, model number, detailed specification, picture (where applicable) and certification status for each item in the offer.
7. The bidder has to submit proof of the ATEX/ IECEX/ equivalent certifications for the applicable items.
8. The bidder has to supply the equipment within 15 (fifteen) working days from the date of receiving the work order.
9. Supplier must ensure strong after-sales services for at least 06 (six) months from the date of delivery. It has to clearly mention in the offer for the items not applicable for after sales service.
10. The selected bidder has to deliver the items in good condition with original packaging, user manual etc. to GIZ Office Dhaka or a location inside Dhaka as per written instruction.
11. Payment terms: Advance payment may be given against Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable scheduled bank.

Required documents to be attached with the offer:
1. Please quote the price including TAX and mention the VAT & Import duty amount separately.
2. Detail specifications with quoted items with warranty details. Please do not quote for any locally manufactured, assembled, counterfeit or clone product.
3. Supporting documents of the minimum qualification such as a copy of a valid trade license, VAT, TIN certificates, Tax Return certificates, valid authorization certificate, and any other document, etc. (where applicable).
