GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable firms to baseline survey is to do In-depth data collection from the households of the selected settlements and thus giving data to explain the social and economic status of the inhabitants before any intervention took place such as dweller survey, livelihood assets and strategy, vulnerability context, accessibility of social services, linkages with financial institutions, policy gaps etc. through household survey and other methodologies. The study is to be conducted in the hotspots target areas of Khulna, Rajshahi ,Barishal ,Satkhira and Sirajgonj based on household survey approach:
- The consulting farm has minimum 10 years' experience in designing, implementing, managing and coordinating Baseline survey / research / assessment /etc.
- The consulting firm to be assigned for the project, preferably have prior work experience with GIZ
- The consulting firm has experience and knowledge of Livelihood, migration, climate change, gender and participatory development approach
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, validation, entry and analysis using statistical software and drafting skills
- Strong analytical skills on gender analysis in overall aspects of survey designing
- Ability to develop high quality research reports in English
Firms with these pre-requisite qualifications should also provide the following documents along with their Expression of Interest (EOI):
- Company Brochure
- List of current client companies being serviced by the company
- All up-to-date Trade License document, with Tax Certificate

Interested parties with relevant and proven experience shall Submit Technical and Financial Proposal by November 25, 2018 in separate sealed envelopes. The envelopes shall be addressed to “Contracts, Procurement & IT Unit” denoted with remark denoted with remark “Contract number 83300233-Conduct baseline study for “Urban Management of Internal Migration due to Climate Change (UMIMCC)" for City Corporation and Municipality”.
