Job Context

  • The Manager, Operations is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization’s operations according to the strategic direction set by the Board.

Job Responsibilities

  • To look after and follow up the entire supply chain issues and should have expertise on different types of arc welding manufacturing and marketing.
  • Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Identify the untapped market and most fitted strategic decision to take major control over the market.
  • Oversee the efficient and effective day to day operation of the organization.
  • Properly understand buyers requirements and deliver them within given time limitation.
  • Expert on quality of different types of arc electrode.
  • Meeting production plan maintaining required quality at efficiency.
  • Must know the technical way to minimize cost but with best quality output.
  • Monitor and ensure that the inter-departmental communication is good.
  • Keep regular communication with the buyers & Top management.
  • From planning to timely delivery with quality will be the responsibility of the respective incumbent.
  • As operations manager, he has to look after and follow up the entire supply chain issues.
  • To plan and implement the decision for achieving certification of international standard within time limit.
  • Total planning for Administration and Accounts activities.

Educational Requirements

  • At least graduate from any recognized university of Bangladesh. Applicant holding degree - PGD in Industrial Management will get preference.
  • Engineering personnel with experience in operating similar kind of organization also can apply

Experience and Additional Requirements

  • More than 10 year(s) preferable.
  • The applications should have experience in the following area(s) Planning, Operation & Maintenance, Project Management, Factory/Plant/Facility Management, Production
  • The applications should have experience in the following business area(s) - Sufficient knowledge in Company law, Bangladesh Labor law and Rules, Fire safety, Environmental safety and International Certification.
  • Proactive decision making ability.
  • Good interpersonal and high level management skill.
  • Able to motivate employees for achieving goals and objectives of the company.
  • Reasonable command over English language
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Age should not be above 45 years
