Job Responsibilities of Manager (Accounts & Finance)
- Confirm the daily accounting entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with BAS, IFRS and Tax Accounting Principles;
- Responsible for monthly and year end closing of the general ledger including the preparation of journal entries, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, full set of tax reports and evaluation of financial data;
- Responsible for maintaining accounting and asset module under ERP, back up control;
- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Form and develop accounting policies and procedures;
- Execute bank payments, post monthly bank reconciliations for all the accounts, verify accuracy of bank statements and resolve question or problems, maintain integrity of cash balances and cash flow systems;
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and participants.
- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets.;
- Responsible for all taxes obligations, tax payments and timely submission of tax/ vat returns and related reports;
- Perform salary calculation, related social tax reports;
- Supervise, train and evaluate accounting staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Minimum M.Com/MBA and other professional degree will be an addded advantage.
Other Experience: IT knowledge is required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years proven experience.
Age: 35 years above.
Skill: Good team player, trouble shooting, verbal and written communication in English & Bengali
Salary: Negotiable.
