Vacancy announcement The FPAB, referred to as a Member Association (MA) here, was founded in 1953. It is an MA of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. FPAB focuses on comprehensive sexual and reproductive health programmes. The programme covers five major areas including Access to SRH, HIV/AIDS and Abortion services and information to the marginalized, the under-served and the Adolescents and Advocacy for SRHR for all. Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) is seeking applications for: Director (Finance) Location: FPAB National Head Quarter, 2 Naya Paltan, Dhaka-1000 Salary: Shall be negotiable FPAB wishes to identify a suitable candidate as the Director (Finance). As the head of Finance Division s/he would be part of the Senior Management team of FPAB. S/he would be overall responsible for the financial health of the organization including setting up and maintaining the financial management systems and controls in the organization to ensure quality processes and systems of planning, budgeting, treasury management, accounting, reporting and compliance with legal/ fiduciary requirements are in place and maintained at FPAB. The job holder will need a Chartered Accountancy and/ or Masters in Business Administration (with specialization in Finance) and/ or Masters in Cost and Management Accounts with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant field, out of which a minimum of 3 years + should be part of a senior management team. The job holder must have thorough knowledge of Government rules and regulations regarding non-profit organizations/social sector; Generally Accepted Accounting and Audit principles; Fixed Assets and Inventory Management; contemporary computerized systems in the field of financial management would be essential; Click to download Job Description |
