  • Diploma in Hotel/Restaurant Management is desirable.
  • A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.


  • 2 years’ experience working within a 4/5 star establishment as Head Chef or 3/4 years as Senior Sous Chef who is ready for their next career move.


  • Age 18 to 35 year(s)
  • Demonstrate good knife skills
  • Show interest and knowledge of flavor and food products
  • Show good practice in working hygienically around food with attention to detail
  • Possess basic math skills and MS Office
  • Experience working within a high volume fast food establishment as Head Chef/Executive Chef


  • Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, safety, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand in English and Bengali.
  • Oversee the Operations of the restaurants within the restaurant.
  • Create and implement new items for the menus, including using seasonal and locally sourced produce with the ability to include regional specialties.
  • Must have good working knowledge of own area, market trends and industry changes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentational skills.
  • Monitor & controlling kitchen flow.
  • Operate within controlled budgets, cost, dishes etc. and analyze future purchasing to prevent over/under buying.
  • Control stock requirements & purchasing / replenishment, operate stock takes, prevent excessivewastage/spoilage.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guest’s needs and requirements.
  • Ability to think on your feet and under pressure whilst maintaining a positive outlook and attention to detail and solve problems quickly.
  • Excellent time management, able to forward plan and prioritize tasks to ensure work load is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately. Ability to multitask.
  • Manage a small team of cooks (Line/Commis/Prep) including hiring, training & disciplining and overseeing performance.
  • Oversee catering for special events.
  • Suggest employment and termination of staff.
  • Assist in developing, planning, and executing restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kgs.
