Job Responsibilities

  • To attend all valid requisition.
  • Check with potential suppliers (nominated/non-nominated where applicable) for price & quality.
  • Ensure purchase order made at competitive prices subject to having required quality
  • Ensure delivery within required deadline & follow up updates accordingly
  • To compare prices, specifications & delivery dates to determine the best bid price among potential supplies
  • To make total clarification of valid demand/Requirement within same day & proceed purchase order following SOP as well
  • Cross check with suppliers ahead to get on time delivery
  • To identify bottlenecks and communicate to the respective parties including the personnel & stakeholders
  • Develop & measure key performance indicators to determine & improve the effectiveness of the procurement functions
  • Opening and developing new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Making introduction for our company to the new clients.
  • To negotiate price with the buyers.
  • To maintain close correspondence with customers.
  • To follow up with Bank.
  • To prepare export documents, submit the same to bank for realization of sales proceeds.
  • To maintain close liaison with different Govt. offices/agencies regarding exportation.
  • Negotiating shipping schedules, letters of credit, credit control mechanisms, licenses, declarations, packing, routing, transport, safety documentation and cost-effectiveness of activities.
  • To ensure profitable growth of the business.
  • Supervision of orders, suppliers and payments.
  • Clear Understanding of the export and Import rules and policies by legislation.
  • Providing regular feedback to Reporting Authority about current situation/status.
 

Educational Requirements 

  • Should have a MBA degree from any recognized university. 

Experience Requirements 

  • 7 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Logistic
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies

  • Age 32 to 45 year(s)

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Multinational Companies, Overseas Companies
  • Ability to lead a learn of multinational employees.
  • Should possess an excellent leadership skills and international level communication skills.
  • Prior experience sustainable supply chain management in multinational sourcing organizations and Retail organizations is a must.
  • Prior experience in cross functional and cross cultural environment.

Salary Range: Negotiable
