Job Responsibilities
- Translate user requirements in a functional design and technical concept.
- Implement PLC and SCADA applications.
- Working with Siemens/Schneider/ABB PLCs and VFDs/Allen Bradley/Panasonic PLCs and Motion Control/Tripple Gee/Other PLC, HMI and SCADA Platform.
- Periodically travel to remote factory locations for control system troubleshooting, and start-up of control systems primarily across Bangladesh.
- Experience with design of control systems and architectures with Auto CAD, Safety Design, writing custom project specifications, and developing process control descriptions with input from project team.
- Create effective program and support documentation, Modifying PLCs and HMI applications in the field. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- PLC, DCS and SCADA control system configuration and programming (iFIX, OPC Server/Driver).
- Developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues.
- Training customers on how to operate products and application.
- Responsible for establishing engineering design basis, and assisting with design documentation (e.g. PFDs, PIDs, equipment and instrument specification sheet, process package, MOC, interlock matrix, functional design specification) for both new and existing facilities while following department standards.
Educational Requirements: B.Sc in CSE/ EEE/ Mechanical
Experience Requirements: 1 to 5 year(s)
