Senior Executive/Executive-Reporting & Budget

General Summary:

The Sr. /Executive- Reporting & Budget (posted at HQ) will be responsible to assist Manager- Finance & Accounts in all aspects of Financial reporting, developing tools for finance report, preparing budget and monitoring compliance of budget within the HSE network. The incumbent also engages in developing people with necessary skill development of Budget and Reporting.

Reporting to:

Reports to Manager-Finance & Accounts at the HSE HQ.
Other major interactions: CFO & CS, CMO, Regional and HQ Finance Team, other Divisional Heads, Departmental Heads, Admin Manager, Accounts Manager, Regional Managers, Clinic

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor financial management of grant funds to ensure consistency with agreed technical plan and actual implementation and monitor the projected expenditures against their actual incurrence.
  2. Prepare budgeting and forecasting, report to donor.
  3. Assist in development of HSE Financial planning and budgeting process (both revenue and cost) including the development of the budget manual and templates, creation of tools to develop work plans, work with programs developing budgets, and reconciliation of budgets with programmatic work plans and organizational goals.
  4. Assist to prepare Financial Statement-Monthly, quarterly and annual.
  5. Implementing Internal Control system as advised Senior Management of HSE Finance team.
  6. Assist in developing regular financial reports and analysis forecasting and trending budget performance and institutional financial positioning for HSE Senior Leadership team.
  7. Ensure compliance with current budget and spending policies and train all the team members (regional and HQ Finance team) regarding spending guidelines, cost savings, cost allocation, and annual planning.
  8. Work with the Finance team to streamline internal financial reports and reporting processes to deliver more efficient, more effective, and more useful reports and analysis.
  9. Support to Clinic Operation from Finance and consolidated the clinic level Financial Statement.
  10. Extend necessary support to Regional Finance team.
  11. Review monthly performance of Regional office.
  12. Support the regional office to understand and improve the efficiency of operations and business models.
  13. Review and process all regional fund requests, to ensure that fund is transferred in a timely manner.
  14. Consolidated Regional Income & Expenditure of the organization.
  15. Prepare Financial statement of pharmacy.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the Financial Budget & reporting; Experience from company or INGO related to health care will be given preference.
  • Masters in Finance/Accounting or MBA (Major in Finance/Accounting).
  • Advance in excel is must require.
  • Professional degree like ACCA Part two qualified / CA application level will be given preference.
  • Microsoft excel advance level, Tally ERP 9, (SUN 6.1, quick book knowledge will get preference)
  • Good capacity to operate different accounting software .
  • Proactivity in taking ownership of work is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability in verbal and written English and Bangla, lead the presentations, delivering training
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Bangladesh
