JD Title: Sales Officer

JOB SCOPE SUMMARY

Responsible for obtaining new business across all market segments. Retaining and driving additional business from existing corporate/others accounts in line with the budget. To support the sales team with contracts & proposals as required and promote all sales and marketing programs in order to develop, maintain and expand the customer base.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, build and manage a client base of corporate and others.
  • Contact clients and/or potential clients via calls and/or arrange meetings to discover their needs and requirements.
  • Prepare clinic presentation and all marketing collateral for Head of Sales & Marketing to review and use to promote clinic’s products and services to the target markets.
  • Customise our clinic’s service packages to fit with each corporate client’s needs and to meet their satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales proposal incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions.
  • Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and to discuss opportunities for future business deals.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute corporate sales initiatives.
  • Be responsible for development and implementation of corporate sales service and retention strategies.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales & Marketing to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximising the clinic’s revenue.
  • Ensure the corporate sales targets set by the Company are met within the given and agreed timeframe.
  • Assist Head of Sales & Marketing to accurately forecast future sales and form sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
  • Assist Head of Sales & Marketing in to observe the market, identity trend and monitor the main competitors.
  • Develop and promote product image and awareness among the corporate clients by various campaigns. 
  • Work to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
  • Represent the company’s business in various conferences, trade fairs and networking events to attract more corporate clients.
  • Collaborate with other Department on clients’ booking to ensure that clients receive smooth service while visiting our clinic.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle everyday situation quickly and effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Possess good sales techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Be passionate and have the drive and determination to meet / exceed set goals.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in common Microsoft software such World and Excel.
  • Possess customer-handling techniques.
  • Comfortable in dealing with all levels of people.
  • Handle challenging situations with guests diplomatically.
  • Actively participate as a team player to ensure unit cohesion.
  • Present one-self in an appropriate manner i.e. dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Being able to use appropriate choice of words and actions when dealing with both internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

Education:

  • Minimum Graduate

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar job is must.

Additional Skill required:

  • Good communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Sound knowledge in MS office programs.
