Position: Chemical Testing Laboratory Manager
Job Description:
- Responsible for management and performance of the Laboratory operations and control including management of team of Chemists.
- Responsible for the overall profit and loss of Chemical laboratory
- Responsible for daily operating of laboratory in respect of testing in an efficient and effective manner.
- To ensure the daily workload meets agreed schedule.
- To review and evaluate testing results/findings in respect of technical details.
- To ensure all testing are carried out at the most punctuality, accuracy and are strictly followed approved standards/methods.
- To ensure the laboratory is run most safely and its activities will not affect human health and environment
- To ensure the maintenance, calibration of testing equipments are properly implemented.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or Postgraduate qualification in Laboratory technology or in Analytical Chemistry or technically competent & professionally qualified in relevant discipline;
- 06 years’ experience in Chemical testing laboratory preferable from textile industries
- 03 years minimum experience in managing effective Laboratory operations through equipment supply, maintenance, stock management, logistics and personnel;
- Managing Laboratory operations in order to meet Customer KPI’ and Service Levels;
- Setting up, executing, and reporting status of lab management plans;
- Experience in all phases of contract management to meet the Company’s requirements;
- Capable of providing operational management and competence development of national staff, in line with the Company’s Competence Development programs;
- Conversant with ISO 9000, ISO 17025 and HSE systems;
- Experience in financial control of service laboratory;
- Highly motivated who believe in delivering results;
- Excellent communication in English, both written & spoken
