Education and Development Foundation-Educo, a global development organization has been working in Bangladesh with a vision to protect the rights of the children and ensure their well-being and maximum potentials. The Educo has been operating a project titled “Options for Dignity of Human being by Influencing Key Actors to Reform (ODHIKAR)”aims to eliminating child labour with special focus on children engaged in domestic and transport sector in Dhaka city. Now Educo under its ODHIKAR project offers internship opportunities to young aspirants who are interested to engage in issue based action research on child labour issues.   

Period of Internship: Interns will be recruited for a period of three months.

Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will be student of Masters degree with thesis from a reputed university in Development Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Welfare or related discipline with good academic results. Those awaiting Masters result may also apply.

Additional Requirements:

• Students who have thesis at Masters level especially on child rights/child labour issues will get preference.
• Skill on qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
• Excellent skill on data collection, compilation, analysis and drafting report in English.
• Should be willing to work in rural slum areas of Dhaka city.

Job Location: Dhaka

Allowance: Per month allowance will be offered to Interns.
