Education and Development Foundation - Educo is a international development organization with over 25 years' of working experience in child rights and education for children. We take a holistic approach in ensuring child’s right through integrating other components such as, health, livelihood and protection in all our programs. We currently have geographical presence in five (5) districts, i.e. Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Mymensingh and Moulvi bazar.

Educo Bangladesh is starting a two-year pilot project entitled “Options for Dignity of Human being by Influencing Key Actors to Reform (ODHIKAR)”. The project will be working with children engaged in domestic labour and in the transport sector in Dhaka City with the following objectives:

• Child labour related policies, law and regulations adopted at national level;
• Working children and youth in domestic and transport sector have access to basic and vocational education and health services;
• Communities combat against child labour and exploitation especially hazardous labour.

Educo Bangladesh is looking for a research organization/firm to conduct a Baseline study for the ODHIKAR project to assess the present situation of the children engaged in domestic labour and transport sector.

Submission of EoI: Interested organizations are requested to submit EoI and provide the information according to the following guideline with required documents:

• Organizational/ consultant profile (maximum 300 words). This should contain information on (not limited to) years of work experience, specialization (if any), relevant expertise etc.
• Description of Research project/s specifically on child rights/labour issues (Maximum 300 words)
• Primary investigators profile with CV no more than two pages (Maximum 200 words)
• Team composition for the proposed research (this should contain name and profile of the team members no more than 100 words for each member and should not exceed two pages).
• Sample of relevant research report if available. No more than three (3) sample reports should be submitted. Please submit the sample reports in both soft and hard form.

The EoI must be submitted in English to Educo Bangladesh no later than November 25, 2018 4.30 pm Dhaka time.
