Education and Development Foundation-Educo is an International NGO that acts on behalf of children to defends their rights, especially, the right to receive quality education. It was founded on 24th February, 1994 in Barcelona of Spain and has been working in Bangladesh since 1999.

In Bangladesh, Educo currently has its geographical intervention in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Mymensingh and Moulvi Bazar. With its primary focus on quality education initiatives besides  organization also implements community-based  activities in the areas of Health, Livelihood, Child Rights Governance  and  Protection. The organization is involved in different networks and alliances to promote child rights and Protection through advocacy and lobbying.

   The organization is now looking for a Head of Grants Program Management.

Working conditions Based in Dhaka office with frequent field visit.
Purpose The  Head of Grants Program Management will oversee Project Cycle  Management of external funded projects. S/he will monitor the project implementation (physical and financial) of external funded projects to ensure overall high quality of grants administration, s/he will manage partners for program operation to ensure donors’ compliance and donor satisfaction.
Engagement The  Head of Grants Program Management will be directly report to the Director, Program Operations to update the regular progress ,s/he will work with the Resource Mobilization team to facilitate the resource mobilization initiatives ,Finance team for financial reporting work with monitoring and evaluation team to ensure the external funded projects progress are aligning with project result, maintain relation with Manager, Policy and Advocacy to share the key note of advocacy, HR team for availability of human resources, keep in touch with different Specialist and other Managers for technical support, maintain regular communication with external donor, partners, related government agencies , establish and enhance network with different stakeholders. 
Delivery S/he will manage the staff working in external funded projects, monitor the work progress in accordance to the project guideline and take required initiatives. s/he will ensure partners’ deliverable are qualitative and completed in due time . Strictly  meet reporting time to the external donors and ensures compliance, and sharing of grants information with program, finance, communications, and other staff. Maintain grant compliance, internal processes. Oversight and evaluation on all grant’s management-related issues. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual reports, preparing case studies and best practices. S/he will monitor the partners’ performance and capacity to addressing donors’ compliance and take initiatives for capacity development of partners.

  • Lead day-to-day aspects of donor reporting processes to ensure the timely submission of high quality programmatic reports, and financial reports.
  • Ensure effective portfolio management and compliance with donor requirements.
  • Assist  Resource Mobilization team in preparing Concept Note, writing Project Proposal.

02 Risk Management
  • Oversight the risks related to implementation of projects and work with the team to minimize them.
  • Forecasting the budget execution and take required initiatives for proper execution of budget.
  • Coordinating with Finance Departments to ensure regular deposit of foreign remittance.

03 Staff Management
  • Supervise the external funded project staff .
  • Ensure their deliverables are Intime
  • Staff performance Appraisal.
  • Take initiatives for their development.

04 Partnership management
  • Support  partner of external funded project to ensure maximum output of the project
  • Manage relationships with partners as needed.
  • Monitor , evaluating the partnerships Working with colleagues to collect and track data  the effectiveness of partnerships.
  •  Demonstrate the impact of partnerships through reports.
  •  Support other partnerships work When required, liaising with other partners.
  • Take initiatives for capacity building of partners.

05 Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Maintain regular communication with monitoring team to ensure proper implementation of the project’s activities and objective will be earned.
  • Evaluate the reasons of difference and/or delaying of implementation of projects activities with monitoring teams.
  • Work with the team to determine the means to achieve expected outcomes/results.
  • Work closely with the Monitoring team ensure adequately capturing of  learning and best practices from the projects.

06 Advocacy and networking to influence the counterpart   and different key stakeholders.
    • Develops key advocacy issue of the  program .
    • Create strong network with different  key stakeholders to  create effective platform of reducing child labor  and leverage opportunities for ensuring their entry in safety net program.
    • Produce reports and presentations for different audiences.
    • Develop and maintain a network with key individuals in the government, NGO sector, civil society and the media personnel

Essential qualifications
Education
A postgraduate University degree in Economics, Statistics, , Development Studies, Study completed from recognized foreign university will be highly appreciable.
Work experience
Minimum 5 years of working experience in same level at International NGO especially rights based organization.
Work experience in Education , working children / child labor, WASH , nutrition and WASH projects will be given preference.

Salary :  Yearly salary all inclusive BDT 2,354,162 , submission of salary history is also essential.
