We are now looking for enthusiastic and dynamic candidates to fill the position of Supervisor at the airport.

Customer Services Supervisor - Dhaka


  • Manage flight operations including check-in, loading, boarding, and arrival services to ensure
    smooth handling of Dragonair customers, proactively prevent and manage flight disruption.
  • Manage and supervise the Ground Handling Agents as well as the Dragonair airport team to
    ensure synergy between the teams.
  • Ensure consistent standard of result in port performance by proactively engaging the team in a service culture.
  • Manage various suppliers such as fuel farm, Government agencies, regulatory bodies, caterer and internal customers to ensure cost is effective and productively assist with the port budget.
  • Provide and believe in 'Service Straight From the Heart' concept and be the ambassador for KA/CX.
  • Represent the Airport Services Manager (ASM) in airport and operational activities as required.
  • Identify and create and service opportunity from adverse situations such as baggage mishandling, disruption.
  • Ensure repeat customers by providing consistent and proactive services.
  • Coach and develop the team, identify the training needs in self as well as team members.
  • Appreciate talent and encourage efforts to continuously do better in terms of basics such as On Time Performance,Baggage handling and zero ramp and minimum service discrepancy.
  • Dealing with change, ambiguity and assist and nurture the team to move forward.
  • Independently able to handle the port in absence of ASM.
  • Willing to put in extra effort to be a team member and leader.
  • Demonstrate leading by example attributes.


  • 3-5 years firsthand experience working in foreign airlines, possibly at a supervisory capacity with exposure to Loading Management, Check-in, Emergency & Accident drill.
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of leadership qualities.
  • Excellent inter personal and communication skill (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
  • Friendly, accommodating, and easy going personality. Adaptable to change.
  • Must be willing to work night shifts and odd hours.
  • Decision making skill that results in win-win out come / situations.
  • Willing to work with tight deadline and under pressure.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
  • Willing to shoulder additional work according to flight situations, budgeting, and audits.
  • Has the right of residence/work permit for Bangladesh.
