Dragon group, in aligning with its business expansion in Bangladesh, is looking for high caliber candidates to take up a challenging position of General Manager / Factory Manager (Sweater) in one of our state of art manufacturing plant in Dhaka.
General Manager (Sweater)
Job Duties:

Responsible for the whole business operation and formulate overall business plan and direction, and management strategies

Identify, implement and monitor short and long term strategic & production plans
-
Plan, implement and monitor work flows, production systems and processes in a sizeable factory operation

Monitor WIP, production plan, productivity, quality and on time delivery
-
Monitor the systems and procedures for efficient and effective cost and quality control
-
Liaise with various departments to meet the company's goal and meet buyer’s targets
-
Establish and maintain good working relationship with buyer’s direct office or liaison offices.
Must have experience in working for buyers like Wal-Mart, C&A , ZARA, NEXT , GAP.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or above
- 10 years relevant working experience in sweater garment manufacturing industry, in which at least 8 years in running sweater factory in Bangladesh or abroad as GM/DGM .
- Technically Strong with good knowledge of sweater and production and operations management
- Knowledgeable in machineries
- Capable to handle infrastructure
- Familiar with social compliance
- Energetic, strong leadership, negotiation and problem solving skill
- Good understanding of government requirements
- Good command of English
- Proficient in MS office and email.
