Job Responsibility:

• DOREEN, a well reputed & diversified business conglomerates in Real Estate & Holdings - Doreen Developments Ltd (DDL) , Doreen Engineering & Constructions Ltd (DECL), Hotel & Resorts (Four Points by Sheraton, Dhaka),Cement Manufacturing (Seven Horse Cement), Power Generation (Doreen Power), Garments & Textile is looking for a dynamic professional for the position of Director – Design for DDL & DECL. The talent we are looking for will be primarily responsible for:
• Supervise and review the design of the projects of DDL and DECL for clarity and constructability.
• Direct the preparation and/or review of plans, specifications, estimates, and contracts for assigned projects.
• Consistently review and recommend all aesthetic components relating to interior designs, furnishing, etc.
• Oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
• Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
• Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate architecture standards in the creation and implementation of the technical solution.
• Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
• Create a plan to integrate business systems and workflows in support of business strategy.
• Manage internal and external design team (s) and consultant(s) through development process.
• Develop new design features, details, and elements.
• Control cost of architectural and decor packages including costing per square foot of materials, details, and value engineering when necessary.
• Provide strategic architecture guidance in support of project delivery estimates.
• Assess and explain the present and future rationale of architecture decisions.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc in Architecture from any reputed Institution.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 15 Years

Additional Job Requirements:

• Able to use architecture graphics programs.
  
• Knowledge of site conditions and ability to coordinate this information in the drawings.
  
• Review drawings as needed and manage the drawing timeline.
  
• Knowledge of construction terminology and building systems.
