Summary of Role/Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for policing the smooth running of Production within your assigned Factories, ensuring all agreed ex’factory and capacity requirements are met and developing strong working relationships with key Vendor personnel.
Your key areas of accountability will be to ensure on-time deliveries are achieved in line with the Sourcing Strategy and to the required Quality standards whilst protecting the Commercial Deal. You will work pro-actively with the Vendors to ensure any obstacles or omissions which may jeopardise on-time deliveries are resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Police factories to ensure critical dates are met in line with current production requirements
- Communicate our future requirements from the fastreact information, ensuring any changes or deviations are noted and agreed at the appropriate time.
- Ensure strong working relationships are developed with key personnel within your assigned factories
- Oversee the Merchandisers to ensure on-time deliveries are met and that a full and detailed check list of all Production requirements is reviewed for each Purchase Order and that updated WIP reports are submitted to UK on time.
- Identify potential problems before they affect Production deliveries, agree corrective action and monitor these until the issue is resolved and the agreed date no longer in doubt
- Where it is not possible to resolve an issue without negatively affecting the delivery date, ensure this is escalated to the Production Manager and communicated to the UK Purchasing Team at the earliest opportunity.
- Agree and implement an action plan with the Factory and ensure the UK Purchasing Team are kept informed of progress until resolved.
- Ensure that Dimensions fabric stocks in each factory are regularly inspected and Monthly Fabric Returns are verified and submitted to the UK on time.
- Ensure the Monthly LC amendments are received and verified in good time.
- Produce KPI’s for Delivery Performance from your assigned factories, noting reasons for failure and agreeing a corrective action plan with the Vendor

Salary Range: 45,000 – 50,000 |
