Community Mobilizer, Livelihood & Cash– 2 National Positions

Position Location: Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh with frequent field visits

DCA (DanChurchAid) is a Danish humanitarian, non-government and non-profit organisation working in Bangladesh since 1971. DCA is a non-missionary organisation. We work for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and believe in life before death. The DCA Bangladesh invites applications from qualified and competent Bangladeshi candidates for the position of Community Mobilizer, Livelihood & Cashfor Humanitarian Response in Cox’s Bazar. 

The Community Mobilizer, Livelihood & Cash will implement the livelihood & Cash activities under different projects and ensure that all activities stipulated are implemented in a timely manner and with quality.As part of the Rohingya Refugee Response Programme, livelihoods and cash transfer programming will be used to provide assistance to the most vulnerable Rohingya refugees and host-community members.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility to implement the camp level Cash & Livelihood program/activities 
  • Facilitate community sessions on cash & livelihood and interact with refugees on C&L issues and preparedness.
  • Identify and promote local initiations regarding C&L program implementation.
  • Facilitate and manage trainings, meetings at camp level organized by DCA.
  • Conduct regular program monitoring, feedbacks/reflection.
  • Establish good linkage with refugees, government agencies and stakeholders.
  • Actively participates in the response coordination meetings at camp level.
  • Collects feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders for necessary program improvement.
  • Assist to develops knowledge products, communication materials and other IGA materials
  • Captures lessons learned from the overall risk reduction efforts implemented by DCA and its partners
  • Assist C&L Officer to prepare activity design and operation plan, etc.


  • Intermediate/bachelor’s degree in relevant subject relating to social science, agriculture, agro-ecology, markets etc with two years of relevant work.
  • Good facilitation skilled to mobilize C&L volunteers and DMCs.
  • Good knowledge and experience on market assessment
  • Good knowledge and practical experience on global and national cash & Livelihood activities
  • Good understanding of Rohingya camp set up.
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills in English and Bangla (local language).

Priority will be given to;

  • Residence of Cox’s bazar district
  • Women who has above qualification and experiences
  • Energetic youth with age between 20 to 35 years
