Position: General Manager, (Generator Service)

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • Prepare the marketing plan & strategy with the highest Quality in respect of Service.
  • Plan and meet up the yearly Marketing & Sales target of Service in Bangladesh Market for the company.
  • Ensure service of corporate and after sales service to Dana Group’s clients in efficient and effective manner.
  • Established market best share by providing excellent after sale service of “Gas Generator”.
  • To lead the team effectively in order to achieve ultimate target of the company.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Responsible for After Sales Serviceof Gas Generator and ensuring cost effective solution through proper support and recommendation.
  • Communicate with the principal/s as and when required for the company’s interest.
  • To deal with customers about different Spare Parts, nature of Service etc.
  • To make contract with customer for AMC (annual Maintenance Contract), MSA (MaterialStreaming Agreement) and monitor/ ensure all contractual obligations are performed.
  • Identify all the relevant technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales of service process and ensure proper generator’s services and execution upon coordination with clients.
  • Establish and maintaining strong positive relationships with customers.
  • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  • Provides information to Management and line by collecting, analysing, summarizing data and trends.
  • Annual planning for major & top overhauling service of company’s gas generator.
  • Manage trouble shooting of gas engine service of company’s client effectively and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor service Bill, Quotation for repairing, overhauling and troubleshooting and ensure proper workshop activities.
  • Planning for annual income & expenditure.
  • Provide Technical support for different system of our equipment to customers & our engineers.
  • Able to manage “Services KPIs” and report to client/management and principal as and when required.
  • Arrange effective source, monitor and maintain related spare parts from local/import as and when required basis and report accordingly to client and management.
  • Monitoring & evaluation of Service team.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Upon requirement, management may assign additional responsibilities

Job Nature: Full-time

Educational Requirements

  • Candidate must be B.Scc in Mechanical/Electrical from BUET /DUET/ CUET/ KUET/ RUET.
  • MBA in Marketing/Finance will have an advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have at least 10 -12 years practical experience in After Sales Serviceon Gas Generator in large reputed Local/ Multinational organization.
  • Must be able to identify all the relevant technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the after sales process. An ability to establish and maintaining strong positive relationships throughout the sales cycle is an important desired element.
  • Should have well versed knowledge of Bangladesh Generator and Power market.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge about operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Gas Generator and spare parts.
  • Competency in dealing with all sectors of People at any time.
  • Fostering Teamwork
  • Listens and responds constructively to all team members’ ideas.
  • Analytical thinking for betterment of organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Must have experts level of knowledge in MS office application, email/browsing & Windows operation, Power point Presentation skills etc.
