Group Executive Director, Sales & Marketing

The candidate should be B.SC in Mechanical or Electrical from BUET or any reputed University or from abroad and MBA in Marketing from any reputed University is mandatory.  

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years in Sales and Marketing is mandatory in Bangladesh market in large reputed Local/multinational organization.
  • Should have well versed knowledge of Bangladesh Generator market.
  • Should very good contacts /liaison with different Corporate and Govt. Organization in Bangladesh.
  • Capable to develop New Market, Achievement of Targets, Growth Driven, powerful Sale & Marketing strategies and Market Expansion.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES – Areas of responsibility:

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media and direct mail.
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packing and pricing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budget.
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Established and maintain relationship with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Established and maintains a consistent corporation image throughout all product lines, promotional materials (where applicable) and event.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Directs market channels development activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Review and analyses sales performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Liaison with different corporate and Govt. authority e.g. BPDB, APSCI, EGCB, RPCI, REB, BGFCL, SGFL, Petro Bangla , Titas , ONG companies , FMCG for new project/ venture for the company.

  • Knowledge about operation ,maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generator
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Must have experts level knowledge in MS office application, email/browsing & Windows operation, Power point Presentation skills.
