Job Title : Fixed Equipment Inspection Lead

Job Details
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Use technical knowledge of mechanical design and engineering for onshore gas facilities to direct and be accountable for the integrity of all Fixed Equipment assets including piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks and production wells.
- Plan and coordinate routine risk based inspection and maintenance shutdown inspection activities.
- Prepare Inspection Testing and Preventative Maintenance (ITPM) plans for Fixed Equipment.
- Submit & track repairs or upgrades for Fixed Equipment and develop engineering work packs and work orders for routine and shutdown maintenance.
- Lead inspection contractor field personnel.
- Review and ensure accuracy of inspection reports.
- Manage facility integrity issues as well as support incident investigations.
- Use and be familiar with safety processes/ tools. For example: MOC, Safety in Design, HAZOPs, What if investigations, root cause analysis, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering.
- 10 Years minimum experience in engineering in an oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of natural gas production operations process design, metallurgy and corrosion mechanisms.
- Knowledge of fixed equipment and non-destructive examination per industry codes and standards including: API 570, API 510, and/or API 653.
- Experience in Risk Based Inspection, Corrosion or Non Destructive Examination (NDE) is preferred.
- Fluent English language skills, strong verbal & written communication abilities, technical writing and documentation proficiency.
- Strong team skills and proven ability to contribute and deliver in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English & Bangla.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
