01. Head of Internal Audit

Qualification:

  • Masters degree in Finance or Accounting from well reputed foreign / local University should be qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Management Accountant or Chartered Certified Accountant with knowledge of Internal Audit; knowledge of Exchange business would be an added advantage.
  • Should have worked in a similar position for a minimum of 5 years in a peer service institution.  

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and projects in line with CSE risk management standard and practices;
  • Develop audit programs, working papers, and internal audit reports;
  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for CSE Audit and Risk Management Committee;
  • Work on teams focused on advisory projects and assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectives of CSE;

Additional Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge in IFRS/IAS & ISA;
  • Computer literacy is a must;
  • Should be smart and well-conversant in oral and written communication both in Bangla and English;
  • Confident and self motivated to build career in service industry;
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure while multitasked and multiple deadlines;

Job Location: Head office, Chittagong; transferable to Dhaka, Sylhet and any other places as per CSE’s need.  Intercity traveling will be needed.
