Concern Universal is preparing a large project on rice and crop diversification with an aim to improve small holder productivity and strengthen competiveness of market systems. In this context, the organization is looking for a qualified, dynamic and motivated individual to fill up the following position:
“Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager”
Project: Rice and diversified Crops Activity
Location: Based in Dhaka and Southwest districts of Bangladesh
Reporting to: Chief of Party
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is for the overall design of the monitoring and evaluation strategy of the project according to funder requirements. S/he will be expected to travel to the field frequently and spend a significant proportion of her/his time in the field working with project participants and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for integrating Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) approach into the programme design.
The position requires an individual with:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Significant years of relevant experience
- Experience managing the monitoring and evaluation for activities of similar size and scope
- Experience using a Learning Plan to inform activity implementation
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation work for donors/U.S. Government agencies or international NGO or institutions
- Demonstrated strong writing and oral presentation skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Evaluation and Learning Plans (PMEL) for USAID programs
- Experience integrating USAID’s Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) approach into program design highly desirable.
