Concern Universal – Bangladesh (CU-B) is a UK based International NGO working in Bangladesh since 1993 with the vision to see a world where justice, dignity and respect prevail for all. Concern Universal, Bangladesh is looking for qualified and motivated individuals to fill up the following position for its ‘Scale Up of the Community Managed Local Health Services in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh’ project, funded by Cordaid:

Qualifications: Medical Graduate (M.B.B.S) from a reputed public medical college in Bangladesh (in addition Master in Public Health will get preference).

Main Responsibilities:

The post holder will provide overall support to the said project (s) including all required tasks for smooth operation. The major job responsibilities are:

• To conduct training needs’ assessment among the community health workers, health promoters and relevant stakeholders of the health sector. Accordingly design training modules/manuals and conduct training/orientation periodically.
• To support the Assistant/Project Manager to develop project(s) planning, implementation guidelines and modalities, awareness raising activities’ guidelines.
• To conduct monthly/quarterly systematic monitoring on the health service delivery and health related awareness.
• To support on maintaining coordination, advocacy and lobby related activities from the central level to local level. 
• To support on project wise documentation in terms of report preparation, documenting good practices, lessons-learned and cases.
• In addition, to carry out the duties assigned by Concern Universal management and administration.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in relevant filed;
• Excellent verbal & written skills in English and Bengali;
• Excellent knowledge on computer operating system;
• Sound knowledge on networking & communication;
• Ability to work under pressure and work with partner;
• Satisfactory report writing skill.

Job location: Dhaka with substantial field trips (at least 25% job time) in Chittagong Hill Tracts.

                                               
Grade: III – C.                   Monthly Salary: 35,000 plus other admissible benefits.
