COAST Trust (www.coastbd.net) is a value based independent, non-profit and non-government organization (NGO), awarded special consultative status with UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), working for the development and implementation of survival strategies for coastal poor since 1998. It believes in integration of right based approach in micro finance, striving for people centered sustainable development initiatives, maintaining a level of transparency, participation, accountability, gender sensitivity and respects to human rights principles in management. Along with other development programs in the coastal districts, it is also implementing the humanitarian emergency responses for Forcibly Displaced  Myanmar Nationals in Cox’s Bazar with the financial support of DEC CARE, DCA, PKSF, Tearfund, NRC, UNICEF and so on. Currently the organization is seeking profiles from interested candidates for the following position:

Skills & Knowledge:

• The candidate must have the skills of preparing project proposal and report writing, communication skills in English (listening, writing and speaking), good typing skill in English and Bangla, advance use of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point.

Education:

• Masters with honors in Sociology/ Economics/ English/Psychology/Anthropology/Public Administration/Development Studies.  

Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience of working in leadership position to implement the projects in the leading local, regional or national NGOs.

Salary: BDT with the range of 40k-60k plus other admissible benefits like contributory provident fund, gratuity, medical allowance etc as per organizational policies.
