CNRS is one of the most recognized pro-environmental national NGOs in Bangladesh. It was conceptualized in 1993, from Bangladesh Flood Action Plan (FAP16) Environmental Study; and the formal journey started in 1994. Since formation, CNRS has been active in this field and has drawn attention of relevant local, national and international actors including government and funding agencies through demonstrating innovations in its approaches and producing tangible learning outcomes. CNRS aims to join with others in influencing the national development strategy towards directions that support sustainable environment in Bangladesh. With this aim, CNRS is currently working in 28 districts covering seven (7) divisions of Bangladesh through 55 field offices. Ongoing projects of the organization cover a range of areas including i) Climate Change Mitigation (CCM); ii) Disaster and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA); iii) Governance; iv) Livelihoods; v) Micro credits; vi) Natural Resource Management (NRM) & Agriculture; vii) Nutrition; and viii) Water & sanitation.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Quality assessment through regular monitoring of project implementation and reporting to Team Leader;
  • Coordinate with District, Upazila and Cluster level team to ensure the functionality of M&E process;
  • Support M&E process of the project for setting baselines of all indicators, monthly/quarterly reporting, impact and evaluation studies, facilitate updating beneficiary household tracking register on regular basis;
  • Provide technical backstopping to field team of Nutrition Awareness and Support Services (NASS) in program implementation, particularly capacity building, BCC campaign, nutrition, WASH program implementation;
  • Ensure that field team maintains required source documents in connection with project activities;
  • Collect and provide necessary data and information for meeting the requirement of M&E system of the project
  • Keeping record of meeting minutes and prepare for dissemination
  • Prepare project monitoring report
  • Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting
  • Share experiences across communities of practice, business units, and networks on innovative approaches in knowledge sharing, including preparation of case studies
  • Participate in different meeting, training, workshop and any other skill development events
  • Any task assigned by CNRS management

Job Nature:  Full-time

Educational Requirements
Master’s Degree preferable in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Social Science
 
Experience Requirements
At least five years of work experience in similar position

Additional Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Excellent in operating MS offices especially MS-Excel, Access, SPSS
  • Skill in data management
  • Competent in English and report writing (both quantitative & qualitative)
  • Willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid motorcycle driving license

Salary Range:  BDT 35,000.00
