NRM Facilitator is the part of CREL-CNRS local project management team and will be working directly with different CMOsat the Protected Area landscapes under the Madhupur National Park, Tangail. Day to day field facilitation and supervision of the activities planned and cross cutting issues including grants, communication and M&E. The CREL projects will be focused on effective natural resources management (NRM) and biodiversity conservation ensuring climate-resilient, and implementation of co-management and climate change adaptation plans and improve governance. This position will support, ensure and report of all the field level activities including CMOsgrants projects at the site in a properly and timely manner.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Contribute in developing and implementing Co-management plans of CMOs
- Involve in developing and implementing local level landscape management plans
- Maintain close liaison with different stakeholders at project site to implement project activities
- Provide technical support to staffs
- Help different assessments and studies on NRM and Climate Change
- Input various data on NRM and Climate Change into online management system (CrelLink)
- Organize different trainings and workshops
- Assist in organizing different events at project site level
- Provide technical support to CMOs
- Report overall NRM and CC activities
- Provide facilitation and technical activities related to governance of NRM and biodiversity.
- Report to governance team and coordinate with FOs in ensuring CMO operations are transparent, functional and achieves towards project goals.
- Assist community participation and representation in local government level.
- Any other activities given by the supervisory authority

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, biological/life scienceand/or related discipline.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 year(s).
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience in NRM project management at field level in forest protected areas;
- Experience in participatory planning and implementation;
- Experience in coordinating technical and financial support;
- Experience in liaison and communication with different stakeholders at site level;
- Experience in training, workshop, communication and outreach events;
- Experience in M&E;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- Should have strong analytical skills, be gender sensitive, and possess a proven track record of working successfully in a variety of cultural contexts;
- Excellent interpersonal and community consultation skills;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Bangla and English language skills
- Willingness and ability to ride motorcycle.
Salary Range: 27,000 pm
