Vacancy Announcement for EHS Manager

A Multinational EPC contractor company in power sector of Bangladesh is looking for an appropriate candidate for the post of Manager (EHS). The person will be responsible for looking after the Environment, Health and safety issues of the project site as per contract with the owner.

Job Information:
The post Manager (EHS) at this company falls under site administration. The responsibilities include supervising all related EHS execution and reporting to the site manager, especially for ERM. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable EHS rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being in charge of all the EHS jobs within the scope of contract;
  
• Organizing and coordinating other jobs relevant to EHS;
  
• Ensuring the submitted EHS without conflict with any inspections;
  
• Ensuring training being done to relevant personnel at any time;
  
• Creating ad hoc reporting, EHS views, and presentations;
  
• Documenting all the EHS records.

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Sc in EEE/ME/CE from any reputed public or private or foreign institution;
  
• Having professional training on EHS;
  
• Having masters in Environmental science is preferable but not mandatory;
  
• Minimum 2 years working experience is preferred in relevant field;

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Fluent in English for reading, writing speaking and listening;
  
• Effective time management and organizational skills on EHS;
  
• Detailed and thorough working methods;
  
• Good EHS acumen;
  
• High-level of maturity and professionalism;
  
• Well organized, self-starter, willingness to learn in a challenging environment;
  
• Coordinating and dealing with all sorts of EHS issues;
  
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting;
  
• Pressure resistant, can deal with multitasks, clear logic, good at analyzing and solving problems promptly;
  
• Strong sense of teamwork and responsibility, good at communication.

Duty Station: Ghorashal, Narshingdi

Salary: Negotiable
