Senior Branch Operations Officer, Chittagong (Manager, C11) |
Location: Chittagong
Direct Reporting to: Head of Branch
Matrix Reporting to: Head of Trade
Functional Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily activities of the branch
- Supervising the activities of the branch staffs
- Ensuring the relevant controls, policies, and procedures are in place in all applicable areas
- To ensure proper communication and good relationship with Bangladesh Bank and other regulators
- Playing the role of BAMLCO and safeguarding branch/ bank from money laundering issues
- Being the Safety Officer the Branch, confirming the branch is properly equipped with all the security devices, fire extinguishers etc.
- Being COB/ MCA coordinator, to make sure that all the required contingency plans are in place to provide seamless services to clients during emergency situation.
- Ensure best in-class customer service and service delivery.
Administrative/ Managerial Responsibilities:
- Motivating staff and creating a positive environment that fosters acceptance and tolerance where all employees share their ideas and work hard to exceed their set goals.
- Identifying team development requirements and arranging coaching and training so that they can contribute more to the bank.
- Creating strong morale and team spirit through frequent reinforcement, shared activities and on-going communication
- To curtail and monitor the daily expenses and ensure that all expenses are kept under strict control.
Skills/ Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge in branch management and Understanding of banking rules & regulations
- Extensive product knowledge related to Cash Management and Foreign Exchange Transactions, including Trade transactions.
- Team supervisory experience
- Change Management skills
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Good networking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Education:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field from a reputed University. Master’s degree preferred.
- Any professional certification like CDCS/ CSDG will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 08 Years in in relevant field of Trade operations and Branch operations.
