Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), a regional and inter-governmental organization invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Senior Secretary at Director General Office for its Headquarters located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Position Title : Senior Secretary
Status : Temporary basis for six months. [Tenure may be extended on the basis of satisfactory performance]
Duty Station : Dhaka, Bangladesh

Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Director General the incumbent is expected to perform following jobs:

  • Manages inward and outward correspondences;
  • Coordinates schedule of meetings including other engagements and ensure that all documents and related needs are prepared;
  • Coordinates travel arrangements, required documents and logistics services;
  • Maintains and updating the list of Contact Ministries, Link Institutions & all other stakeholders and names of respective heads with their secretaries;                    
  • Ensure all reports from Divisions are submitted as scheduled in the Quarterly Calendar;
  • Follow up and report with respective Divisions/staff on tasks assigned by the Director General;
  • Maintains proper filing system and records of all correspondences for DGs Office and maintain database;
  • Performs other secretariat and administrative duties assigned by the Director General from time to time.

Qualification: BBA and MBA from reputed university. Preference will be given to the candidates having O and A level.

Experience: Minimum 3 Years’ relevant experience. Experience with Diplomatic Mission, INGO, UN is highly desirable.

  • Able to balance up conflicting situation in order to manage work flow;
  • Ensure the completion of expected output and meet critical deadlines;
  • Effectively manages the works Space;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English;
  • A good team player;
  • Computer skill; and
  • Exhibit sound judgment and ability to make reasonable decision in absence of direction. 

Age: Between 30 - 40 years

Salary: Negotiable
