Assistant Manager, Quality Control

Job Description / Responsibility

• Supervise, organize, and plan day to day QC investigation team activities to ensure the safety and reliability of products and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure completion of effective investigations that determine accurate root causes and effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Supervise daily operations workflow to support effective application of operating mechanisms and quality systems.
• Coach personnel to improve and enhance their performance.
• Conduct routine performance evaluations on a regular basis.
• Responsible to interface routinely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Supply Chain to support product fulfillment and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and/or support problem solving sessions through application of the problem solving tools and methods to coordinate and/or lead investigation teams. 
• Assist in implementing quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GLP, QSR, cGMP, USP, and CDR rules, and guidelines), and ensure compliance with testing SOPs and specifications. Monitor the testing techniques and accuracy of all records and documentation that is done in the lab.
• Participate in pro-active functions that impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality and provide new product support.
• Maintain expenses at or below budget for the lab.
• Ensure a safe and non-discriminatory working environment for employees.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and audited. Make appropriate staffing recommendations. Evaluate performance via performance appraisals and ensure employees have development plans.
• Prepare, review and revise, as required, SOPs and specifications. Write memos, reports, protocols, CPAs and other appropriate documentation for proper functioning of the lab operation.

Educational Requirements: B.Pharm/M.Pharm from any reputed public University with PCB Registration

Experience Requirements

• At least 08/10 years experience is required in a reputed pharmaceutical company.
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceuticals.
