Name of the Post: Manager Alternative Distribution Channel

Position: AVP/VP

  • Create and implement channel strategies for all customer segments to achieve effective channel use, sales and customer satisfaction targets, operational efficiency and a seamless product and relationship experience for customers.
  • Accountable for managing the channels and maximising performance as well as profitability. This includes attracting, aligning, motivating, developing and retaining a team with the competencies to meet present and future goals.
  • Develop strategy for driving and managing cross-sell of banking products and services through the alternative channels.
  • Accountable for regular Client Integration meetings across geographies and segments to drive cross-sell. Develops and meets cross-sell targets and increased PUC (Product Use Count) over alternative channels.
  • Develop and Optimise current Network into revenue generating Alternative Sales Channel, maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s competitive footprint across the region while monitoring performance and usage.
  • Accountable for regular Client Integration meetings across geographies and segments to drive cross-sell. Develops and meets cross-sell targets and increased PUC (Product Use Count) over alternative channels.
  • Develop and Optimise current Network into revenue generating Alternative Sales Channel, maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s competitive footprint across the region while monitoring performance and usage.
  • Accountable for continuous and regular tracking and reporting of Alternate Sales Channel effectiveness and marketing programs. Recommends pricing, promotions, and sales targets and programs to meet and maximise revenue targets.
  • Lead Alternative Channels Call Centres, taking overall responsibility for the business performance of the call centres, ensuring all measures and targets associated with customer service, risk and controls are met in addition to developing sales capability of centres through training or other methods.

Experience:

  • At least 6-7 years established, prior experience with strategic development in Alternative channels and e-business field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships internally and externally.
  • A creative, innovative and critical thinker who can identify both short and long-term new customer and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to assimilate information and translate it into business solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and present recommendations with clarity and conviction to serve the business’ objectives.

Education:

  • Masters in Business/Economics with aptitude in IT skills with no 3d division or class.
