Position: Accounts Officer (PO/SO)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Payable Management Team of the Bank;
  • Responsible for timely payment of bills relating to suppliers/Vendors, Contractors, Employees etc in compliance with the Bank internal policy and Regulatory Requirement;
  • Maintain Suspense accounts and ensure timely adjustment there against;
  • Authorization in CBS positing for initiating transactions to ensure financial control;
  • Acting as joint custodian of Petty Cash vault and holding the one key of the cash vault;
  • Manage, coordinate, and monitor daily accounts payable operations of the Bank;
  • Perform accruals management activities of the Bank at the end of month and year;
  • Act as a custodian of all Agreement of the Bank;
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations;
  • Prepares month end reports – aged vendor payables;
  • Assist Bangladesh Bank, External and Internal Audit Team;
  • Monitors cash balances and advises the Head of Account for fund transfer;

Educational Requirements
Master’s in Business(Finance/Accounting) from leading business school. Course Completed CA/partly qualified CMA will be given preference. No third Division/Class in academic records.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 year(s) working experience in Banks /Financial Institution/FMCG/MNC as Accounts Officer.

Special Requirements
Working experience in Finacle (Core Banking Software) or similar software will be given preference.
