Position: Manager-Accounts (SPO/FAVP)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operations of the Bank’s system of accounting including managing accounts payable, accruals, payments, transaction processing and periodic closures
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and laws and other external regulations
  • Implement strong financial control in finance related processes to mitigate risks
  • Resolve the different issue or queries of the branches and different divisions of the Bank.
  • Ensure end-to-end control over fixed asset and including management of FAR (Fixed Asset Register)
  • Ensure timely reconciliation and adjustment of suspense, proxy and other control accounts
  • Act as a custodian of all Agreements of the Bank and vouchers and other related documents
  • Manage and administer the different Fund namely Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund of the Bank
  • Action upon the observations from Internal and External Audit in timely and appropriate manner
  • Ensure budgetary control over expenses

Educational Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Master’s in Business in Finance/Accounting from leading business school/University. Professional qualification in Accounting like CA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent will be given preference. But requirement can be relaxed for exceptional candidates. No third division in academic records.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 6 year(s) working experience in Banks/ Financial Institution/ MNC/Group of companies in the relevant area.

Special Requirements
Working experience in Finacle (Core Banking Software) or similar software will be given preference.
