Position: Liability Operations-BACH & Account Opening (PO/SPO)

Key Job Responsibilities:

BACH Operations:

  • Communication with other banks for interbank dispute settlements related to BACPS & BEFTN operation.
  • Authorize transaction in CBS for return instruments due to reason other than insufficient fund
  • Authorize transaction in CBS for instruments honored but not auto debited (Cheque/Pay Order does not match)
  • Verify apparent tenor & signature of the discrepant inward instruments (both High Value & Regular value) referred by the inward instrument processing officer.
  • Communicate with branches for verification of discrepant inward instruments such as signature differ, payment order posting, stop payment, date & limit expired, LMM/CMM issues etc.

Account Opening:

  • Opening, Maintenance & closure of CASA & SND Account.
  • Opening, maintenance and encashment of Term Nature Deposit Accounts (FDR/MIS etc)

Educational Requirements
Master’s in any discipline from leading University. No Third Division in academic records.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience in Commercial Banks in the field of General Banking, BACH.

Special Requirements
Should have experience on ACPS, EFT, RTGS, BACH software.
