Quality Assurance (1 position)

Carrefour Group has grown to become one of the world’s leading distribution groups. The group currently operates 4 main grocery store formats: hypermarkets, supermarkets, hard discount and convenience stores. With 492 employees through Asia and Europe, Carrefour Global Sourcing is in charge of sourcing and product development for the Carrefour Stores.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and quality support during production process; from technical file-up to the production.
• Work closely with supplier, factories, production engineer & with commercial team to achieve quality goals and ensure stable improvement.
• Work with all concerned parties by identifying and resolving potential or existing issues on production quality to minimize the possibilities of any future claims and enhance product quality.
• Analyze product risk by reviewing construction, measurements, workmanship, packaging, etc.
• Visit suppliers /factories to serve as a consultant on technical issues and recommend corrective actions to all relevant parties.
• Jointly work with production engineers to ensure product specification, construction, identifying and resolving mass production inconveniences in appropriately timely manner, and to make preventive action on quality according to company standards.
• Efficiently cooperate with suppliers and production engineers to maintain product quality; ensuring the targets are achieved
• Working with vendors and suppliers to establish, implement and maintain quality requirements.
• Monitor suppliers’ QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data, prepare statistical reports and to be communicated with all related departments.
• Responsible for each aspect of quality control and product assembly in the Factory.
• He/She will be mainly located in the factories in order to ensure a continuous follow-up on site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Master’s Degree; preferable with Diploma/Degree in Fashion Designing.
• 4-5 years working experience in the liaison office with relevant field and 3 years of experience in manufacturing process is must.
• Knowledge of Woven, Circular Knit and sweater regarding construction, workmanship and measurements.
• Knowledge in AQL System.
• Understanding of statistical analysis including AQL inspection techniques.
• Must familiar with garment production process and quality control procedures.
• Ability to identify the causes & problems on workmanship, sewing process, printing, finishing and to offer appropriate solutions.
• Patient, genuine and self-motivation are key requirements to build a relationship with our factories/supplies/vendors.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize.
• Able to work independently and to make decisions related to all technical issues.
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and internet communication are essential .
• Self-motivated, Self-organized, and Responsible.
• Negotiation skill and Market Information.
• Good command over English (Spoken and Written); proficiency in other language e.g. French will be an added advantage.
• Must demonstrate attitude of Caring, Committed, and Positive.
