Position Summary

The Deputy Managing Director (DMD) will have a critical role to play in both business planning & development, refinement of technological infrastructure as well as in Operations.

Strategy, plan & policy

• Plan overall business strategies in consultation with the stakeholders, Managing Director to attain the goals of the business and shareholders.
• Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future.
• Actively participate in development and execution of plan & policy.

Handle Multifaceted Business Operation

• Effectively handle the multifaceted business operation of the company by originating or facilitating financial transactions which include creation, liquidation and servicing or management of financial assets.
• Ensure and implement IT infrastructure through the IT team of CVCFL.

Public Relations

• Maintain a high degree of relationships with Government and Non-Governmental personnel responsible for policy formulation on National money market.
• Develop good media contact lists and building relationships with key contacts to pitch media releases for CVCFL.

Management & Delegation

• Management of operations and other requirements from stakeholder and delegate appropriate representative for the responsibilities.
• Manage challenging and critical situations on crisis moment in the industry and momentarily respond with high integrity and initiatives.

Communication & Negotiation

• Communicate with major stakeholders, valued clients and customers to boost business initiatives and endeavors.
• Maintain relationships with utmost credibility with the shareholders, business partners for business expansion

Business Analysis

• Strengthen the skill level of each position of CVCFL by managing costs and resources, standards, tools, and metrics.
• Analyze local, regional, and global markets and product trends, deciphering competitive intelligence, understanding the importance of governance, risk, and compliance.

In-depth knowledge of markets & changing business environments

• Keep abreast knowledge on financial markets, business trends and environments locally and globally
• Respond to any major/minor changes in business environment and cope up accordingly to retain safe and secured in the industry

Compliance

• Responsible to maintain a healthy, complied culture within the organizations to minimize the risk of regulatory failure and the resultant sanctions and damage to its reputation.
• Train the trainer and ensure that the compliance element of the training is properly incorporated, updated and adequate

Educational Requirements

• Post-graduation degree on business, economics or any other relevant subject from a reputed local/foreign university.
• Professional degree on finance/business will get preference

Experience Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant industrial experience of which 4 to 5 years in a senior management role.
• Applicants having less than three years of experience of DMD/Next to DMD level at any FI/Bank need not require to apply.

Job Requirements

• A proven record of success in Deputy Managing Director/ Chief Executive  position/ senior level general or commercial management, preferably in a related NBFI industry
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
• Strong technological knowledge
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The position may require to act as the Company secretary of CVCFL.
