This role is for ensuring emergency support to the Rohingya as part of Christian Aid’s emergency programme.

About the role

Christian Aid is seeking a motivated Project Assistant to provide provides administrative, logistics and programme development support to the Fondation Hirondelle project in Bangladesh. The will lead on creating relationships with organisations within the Jamtoli camp to support the development and monitoring of the project. Will support the Head of Project in accessing feedback from local organisations, as well as camp residents, including setting up focus group discussions and providing written documentation when/where necessary.  The role will contribute in updating the weekly workplan, as well as providing weekly updates to the Head of Project. 

About you

You will possess degree or equivalent in relevant technical discipline. Candidates need to have demonstrated experience of working with providing administrative, logistics and programme development support and working in radio/audio production in community-led development projects. You should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).  You will demonstrate knowledge, understanding, experience and practice of humanitarian values and principles and able to motivate others to achieve results in complex situations without much supervision. You will have good understanding of basic human rights and meeting the needs of the camp population.
