About us

More than half the world lives in poverty. Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of dignity, freedom and hope, of power over their own lives. Christian Aid has a vision – an end to poverty – and we believe that vision can become a reality. We are striving to bring lasting change to the lives of the poorest communities. We work wherever there is great need, helping people to find their own solutions to the problems they face, irrespective of their religion, caste or creed. If you’re passionate about positive change across the world, then this job might be for you.

Christian Aid is working with its partners in Bangladesh to achieve its goal of ending poverty. We are committed to expose the scandal of poverty and to help in practical ways through our programme, partnerships, campaign and advocacy to root it out from the world. We are recognized for our work on emergency response programme, climate change, disaster risk management, gender equality and human rights issues. Our emergency programmes promote access to just and equitable resources and support the creation of resilient and thriving livelihoods for disaster and crisis affected communities. This role is for ensuring emergency support to the Rohingya as part of Christian Aid’s emergency programme.
