This is a permanent position based in Dhaka with frequent travel to the pilot branches primarily and thereafter anywhere in Bangladesh. He/she is reportable to the Program Head.
BURO Bangladesh - Digital Financial Services-Micro Borrower Project
Responsibilities:
- Manages the relationships with various DFS providers, designated donors and technical assistance providers.
- Takes proactive initiative to partner with competent DFS providers.
- Monitors the performance of ongoing DFS pilots.
- Troubleshoots various first level on-field operational problems in coordination with the technical team of DFS providers.
- Conducts the necessary DFS training for the BURO field and head office staffs.
- Ensures the complete profit and loss (PnL) business scenarios for BURO with the DFS ventures.
- Designs and executes various on-field DFS campaigns to promote digital financial services among the BURO members.
- Designs and produces various marketing and training collaterals in coordination with the project consultants and partnered DFS providers.
- Develop and present daily/weekly/monthly project activity reports for the senior management team of the project.
- Conducts and leads regular business meetings with various project stakeholders such as banks, MFS providers, donors and consultants.
- Ensures various logistics and other support in case of any marketing communication campaigns and training programs from time to time.
Eligibility:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years
- The applicant should have minimum 2 years’ experience in DFS/MFS/Fintech out of total job experience.
Education:
- Master’s degree in relevant academic field and related professional training.
Competencies:
- Pertinent knowledge of digital financial services (mobile financial services and agent banking) in Bangladesh
- Sound technical knowledge with handling technical issues.
- High degree of personal initiative and motivation and setting personal standards of excellence
- Communication skills and proven time management aptitude is essential
- Should be fluent in both Bangla and English
Other Requirements:
- Technical knowledge: Relevant computer and mobile applications.
Age maximum 35 years, could be relaxed for experienced candidate
