Purpose of the job:

To support British Council Examinations Services in order to meet country strategic objectives and its growing examinations business in Bangladesh. The main focus of this post is the delivery of school exams, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met with a high customer interface.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Manage examinations operations effectively and efficiently in accordance with British Council and awarding body standards, meet business objectives and minimise risk.
  • Ensure full compliance with awarding body Administration standards, British Council QCA (quality & compliance assessment), Child Protection Policy, health & safety, equality, diversity and other prescribed standards are met.
  • Manage and develop the School Exams team effectively according British Council HR standards, in order to meet business objectives.
  • Manage Exams finance systems and processes according to British Council finance standards.
  • Liaison with customer service and marketing colleagues ensure gathering of market, competitor, customer data on a rolling basis to advise business, marketing, and value-enhancement strategy.

And is required to have the following skills and experience:

  • Broad knowledge of contacts in the Examinations services and understanding schools exams and other exams of British Council.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a relevant sector
  • Experience of working with different schools in Bangladesh
  • Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • First degree in any discipline

We can offer

  • Monthly salary BDT 93750.00 (Consolidated). Higher salary may be offered depending on skills and experience of the individual
  • Transport allowance of Tk 8000.00 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation’s policy.
